Update from Awaken
To our brothers and sisters and fellow servants of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
Greetings from our family to yours! As many of you already know, Awaken International Ministries is no longer a church. We are an itinerant ministry now, and are still a non-profit 501c3. We have been certain for many years that this day would come and have eagerly awaited the day to answer the call to go and make disciples of all nations. We have always known that local church ministry was not our permanent destination. We have grown and learned so much over Awaken’s first ten years! We thank God for each one of you, who have loved, supported, and prayed for us, and allowed us to be a part of your lives and your walk with the Lord! The body of Christ is a beautiful thing! For those of you who know us or have been a part of our ministry, you know that the message that we carry is not extremely popular, but the Word of God stands true and we are determined to continue to preach it with holy boldness! Gross darkness covers the earth, and the church must come back to the teachings of Jesus Christ to be effective in this generation.
Our hearts’ desire is to AWAKEN the lost and those who are lukewarm, to call the church back to Jesus, to minister to the body of Christ, to be a voice to the remnant, to prepare the way of the Lord, to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, to impart to others a fervency to pray and to fulfill the call of God on their lives.
Part of answering the call of God on our lives is going into full time ministry. Just this month, we have given our business of 15 years to a friend and stepped out into full time ministry. This will permit Erin to focus on seeking the Lord, preaching, discipleship, and writing books and articles. There is so much work to be done to get Awaken’s message to all people in all nations! This is where you can partner with us to spread the message of Jesus Christ! We earnestly covet your prayers as we enter into this new season.
